Alfred Adler Quotes

“The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.”

The Alfred Adler's quote says that the only normal people we can know are the ones we don't know enough about.

All people have flaws and merits; all of us are strange and different. No one is better than we are or much less "normal."

We may often consider others better or worse than ourselves, but we should never prejudge. Today especially, appearances are deceiving. When we have a chance to get to know better those people we consider better or worse, they often turn out to be on the same level as us, with many points in common with us.

So we should never judge by appearances, but always respect all people we meet, even if they turn out to be dishonest or mean to us. Our best weapons are respect, positivity and rationality.

“Death is really a great blessing for humanity, without it there could be no real progress. People who lived for ever would not only hamper and discourage the young, but they would themselves lack sufficient stimulus to be creative.”
