Richard Branson Quotes

“You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.”

The Richard Branson's quote says that we do not learn to live by following simple rules or methods, but by taking action, and very often by failing.

When we aspire to be someone or desire to do something as our goal, there are no guides or methods to get us to our destination; we will usually find ourselves making mistakes and failing multiple times.

A critical element that follows us throughout our lives is experience. It allows us to improve and learn from our mistakes or other people's mistakes.

The attitude that we must have throughout our journey is optimistic. We must be able to find the positive and valuable things even in the darkest moments or the most difficult situations. Then we can be sure to be already closer to our goals.

“My general attitude to life is to enjoy every minute of every day. I never do anything with a feeling of, 'Oh God, I've got to do this today.'”

“My attitude has always been, if you fall flat on your face, at least you're moving forward. All you have to do is get back up and try again.”

“Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.”

“Treat failure as a lesson on how not to approach achieving a goal, and then use that learning to improve your chances of success when you try again. Failure is only the end if you decide to stop.”

“To me, business isn't about wearing suits or pleasing stockholders. It's about being true to yourself, your ideas and focusing on the essentials.”

“If you are a small company taking on a big company, you need to have a sense of humor.”
