The human body is the best picture of the human soul.

Work in Progress...

I don't know why we are here, but I'm pretty sure that it is not in order to enjoy ourselves.

Work in Progress...

Death is not an event in life: we do not live to experience death. If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present.

Work in Progress...

If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done.

Work in Progress...

If a lion could talk, we could not understand him.

What can be shown, cannot be said.

Like everything metaphysical the harmony between thought and reality is to be found in the grammar of the language.

What is your aim in philosophy? To show the fly the way out of the fly-bottle.

Work in Progress...

A new word is like a fresh seed sown on the ground of the discussion.

Work in Progress...

Philosophy is like trying to open a safe with a combination lock: each little adjustment of the dials seems to achieve nothing, only when everything is in place does the door open.

Work in Progress...

The world is the totality of facts, not of things.

Work in Progress...

An inner process stands in need of outward criteria.

The Ludwig Wittgenstein's quote says that the higher the linguistic ability, the fewer the world's limitations, and vice versa.

Being good with words coincides with knowing them. Knowing many words and languages is no small skill we must have if we want to improve ourselves in social or work situations.

In fact, with high language skills, we can, for example, better describe a problem, an idea, a solution, and many other things. If we can make the best use of our words, our goals become much easier to achieve.

So we need to read books, magazines, and information and learn more and more about the use and facets of each word. The world of language is vast, but the more we know about it, the more we grasp the real world.
