Humans aren't made perfectly. Everyone lies. Even so... I've been careful not to tell lies that hurt others.
(2 minutes read)
The Light Yagami's quote says that humans are not perfect, and everyone lies. However, it would be better to tell lies that do not hurt other people.
On many occasions, the truth is the last thing we should say. Sometimes lying is helpful for ourselves and others, and then we don't necessarily have always to tell the truth about everything.
If lying doesn't hurt any relationship or person, we can tell some lies. However, we should tell them carefully.
Many things are fragile, and lies are elements that can destroy, even without realizing it, these things.

In this world, there are very few people who actually trust each other.
The thing I hate the most is to trample on other people's good will.
This world is rotten and those who are making it rot deserve to die. Someone has to do it, so why not me? Even if it means sacrificing my own mind and soul, it's worth it. Because the world... can't go on like this. I wonder... what if someone else had picked up this notebook? Is there anyone out there other than me who'd be willing to eliminate the vermin from the world? If I don't do it, then who will? That's just it: there's no one, but I can do it. In fact, I'm the only one who can. I'll do it. Using the death note, I'll change the world.
L, do you know gods of death love apples?
Under normal circumstances, humans should have continued to evolve as the greatest creatures upon this earth, but we were actually regressing. A rotten world. Politics, law, education... Was there anybody around who could correct this world? But someone had to do it.
I understood that killing people was a crime. There was no other way! The world had to be fixed! A purpose given to me! Only I could do it. Who else could have done it, and come this far? Would they have kept going? The only one who can create a new world is me.
For murderers, there is no good or evil. I know that.
I have a mind of a genius and a strong sense of justice.
I can't develop feelings. That's how most idiots screw up.
But you know the saying, "play with fire, and you'll get burned". I'll make you regret underestimating L...underestimating me.
I must protect my fledging Utopia.
In the end, L is indeed the greatest detective on earth...

I am Justice! I protect the innocent and those who fear evil. I'm the one that will become the god of a new world that every one desires!
Only I could do it! I was well aware that killing people is crime in itself! Yet at that point it was the only way to make things right! I thought to myself that someday people will come to realize this as much, and regard it as an act of justice! I had no choice but to act as Kira… it was the destiny given to me. I was chosen to renew this rotten world, to bring about true peace.
This is the first time in my life that I've been provoked to hit a woman.

If I die at this point, I die without knowing the Truth. And so, it is better to run. I may even discover the truth during the act of running. No, I will grasp the truth with my own hands as I run.
You, too, should understand this. Some humans are better off dead. You have no qualms about squashing pest insects, but you call exterminating human-pests “evil”.

In human society, there are very few people who truly trust each other.
(1 minutes read)
The Light Yagami's quote says that in human society, very few people place complete trust in others.
Trust is something we should only give in safe cases, or better not give it at all. Giving trust to a person implies a weakness on our part, so if that person wants an advantage over us, he can exploit that weakness.
The point is to find a person about whom we are entirely sure that he will never betray or exploit us. And this thing is almost impossible. So it would be better not to place complete trust in other people and to improve our self-confidence and competence.
So we must have an individualistic, rational, and careful attitude. We must not be fooled or be too good.
You can't ever win if you're always on the defensive. To win, you have to attack!

The Light Yagami's quote says that we cannot win if we are always on the defensive, but we must also attack.
In life, we cannot be passive. Passivity leads us to be dependent on external events, people and adversity. We must precisely be able to "attack" and be active.
To be active, we must be completely autonomous in our decisions, thoughts, and actions. We must not let an event outside influence our affairs.
However, we must take a realistic and rational attitude, ready to do what we want but still keeping our feet on the ground.
I've won. Exactly as planned.

The Light Yagami's quote says he won, just as he planned.
We need to be decisive and know how to handle a situation favorably to overcome all adversity and achieve success.
We must always believe in ourselves and study any eventuality, then create a situation in which we have the highest probability of success.
That is why we need to be rational and realistic experts in what we want to do.
This world can no longer be saved by the law.

The Light Yagami's quote says that the law can no longer save the world.
The world is very corrupt, especially in politics. In general, we cannot place trust in anyone, but least of all, in those who propose to bring prosperity to everyone when it is an impossible thing to do.
Living in a world where we are all happy and do not need change is impossible. Those who propose to do so are simply people who are hoping for the trust of some other person so they can gain power and control. Much of politics try to find a general solution and bring prosperity to all citizens of a state.
But we, as human beings, are all different. We can never find a common agreement because of our selfishness.
Then the attitude we must take is rational, realistic, and individualistic. We find personal prosperity and do not entrust our happiness or salvation to people, external decisions, or events.
